Claims Representative

Reports To: Operations Team, Canada Job Overview: We are seeking a Medical Insurance Coordinator to support our partner hospital in the USA. The primary responsibility includes contacting patients or insurance companies, gathering necessary medical and insurance data, organizing the information systematically, and forwarding it to our team in Canada on a regular basis. Key Responsibilities: Communicate with patients, insurance providers, and healthcare professionals to collect and verify medical and insurance-related information. Organize and maintain accurate records of collected data. Ensure timely submission of the compiled data to the Canada-based team. Address queries related to insurance claims and coordinate follow-ups as required. Maintain confidentiality and comply with healthcare privacy regulations. Job Requirements: Basic understanding of medical terminology and familiarity with various medical conditions. Knowledge of medical insurance claim procedures and billing protocols. Excellent English communication skills – both written and verbal. Prior experience in customer service or calling-related roles preferred. Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on resolving issues effectively and professionally. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) for maintaining and sharing records. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in healthcare, insurance, or call center environments. Familiarity with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act )or other health data privacy standards (a plus)
