Civil Site Engineer

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing construction projects while ensuring compliance with regulations and safety standards. This role requires a strong foundation in civil engineering principles, project management skills, and proficiency in various engineering software.

Duties

• Design and develop civil engineering projects including roads, bridges and building constructions.
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine project viability.
• Prepare detailed schematics and construction documents using AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Revit.
• Manage project scheduling and coordinate with contractors to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Perform construction inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
• Utilize GIS and ArcGIS for mapping and spatial analysis related to project planning.
• Conduct construction estimating to provide accurate budget forecasts for projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical engineers and Civil engineers for system design.
• Engage in technical writing to produce reports, proposals, and documentation related to engineering projects.
• Apply hydraulic modeling techniques using SWMM and HEC for water management projects.

Skills

• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Revit.
• Strong understanding of project management principles including scheduling and resource allocation.
• Knowledge of construction management practices including estimating, inspection, and compliance.
• Familiarity with civil engineering concepts related to hydraulics, wastewater treatment, land surveying, and geotechnical engineering.
• Excellent mathematical skills for calculations related to design and analysis.
• Strong drafting abilities for creating detailed engineering drawings.
