Job Summary

The Civil Site Engineer will be responsible for supervising, coordinating, and managing on-site civil construction activities to ensure timely completion, quality standards, and adherence to project specifications. The role requires hands-on involvement in day-to-day site operations, managing contractors, and ensuring safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Supervision & Execution
• Oversee and monitor all on-site civil construction activities.
• Ensure that work is carried out as per approved drawings, standards, and specifications.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers for smooth workflow.
• Project Planning & Coordination
• Assist in scheduling daily/weekly site activities.
• Ensure availability of manpower, materials, and equipment as per the project plan.
• Communicate regularly with the Project Manager regarding project progress and challenges.
• Quality Assurance & Control
• Check materials and workmanship to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Maintain quality records and report non-conformance issues.
• Measurement & Documentation
• Maintain daily site reports, progress reports, and labor deployment records.
• Conduct measurements for billing purposes and prepare work progress documentation.
• Health & Safety Compliance
• Ensure safety measures are implemented and followed at the site.
• Report any incidents or unsafe practices immediately.
• Problem Solving & Issue Resolution
• Identify on-site issues and resolve them in coordination with the Project Manager.
• Suggest process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

Skills & Competencies Required

• Strong knowledge of civil construction techniques and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret civil engineering drawings.
• Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD (basic level), and site reporting tools.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
• Awareness of construction safety standards.

Work Environment

• On-site role, requiring daily presence at the construction site.
• May require working extended hours based on project needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
