Job description Job Title: Civil Site Engineer Qualification: Diploma or B.E. in Civil Engineering Experience: 3+years (depending on requirement) Experience in building construction, infrastructure, or related civil works preferred Job Summary: The Civil Site Engineer will be responsible for supervising, coordinating, and managing day-to-day construction site activities to ensure quality, safety, and timely completion of work as per drawings and specifications. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and execute construction work as per approved plans and specifications. Ensure materials used and workmanship meet required quality standards. Prepare daily progress reports and maintain site records. Coordinate with contractors, laborers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth work progress. Verify measurements and assist in billing work quantities. Monitor site safety and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Manage site resources effectively to minimize wastage and delays. Assist in layout, leveling, and surveying at the site. Communicate with the project manager/engineer regarding progress, issues, or required materials. Check and ensure all works are carried out according to approved drawings and specifications. Skills Required: Strong knowledge of civil engineering drawings and construction practices. Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings. Knowledge of estimation, measurement, and billing. Familiarity with construction materials, testing, and quality control. Good communication and coordination skills. Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, AutoCAD preferred). Teamwork and problem-solving abilities.
