Civil Project Manager – Job Description

A Civil Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing civil construction projects from start to finish. The role ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to quality and safety standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field. (B.E / B.Tech)
• 5+ years of experience in civil construction or project management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, schedule, and manage civil construction projects from initiation to completion.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth execution.
• Prepare project budgets, cost estimates, and resource allocation plans.
• Monitor project progress and prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety norms, and quality standards.
• Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Resolve site issues and provide technical guidance to the project team.
• Ensure adherence to statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Handle client meetings, update project status, and maintain strong client relationships.
• Oversee project documentation, drawings, approvals, and contracts.

Required Skills :

• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Project, AutoCAD, and project management tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.

Salary Range:

• ₹15,000 – ₹25,000 per month
