CIVIL ENGINEER

Position: Junior Civil Engineer (Shed Expansion Project)

Senior Civil Engineer / Project Manager / Plant Head

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Coordination:

Assist in planning and scheduling activities for shed expansion.Prepare daily progress reports and maintain project documentation.Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal departments for timely execution.

✅ Site Supervision

Supervise civil works at the expansion site.Ensure quality control as per standards and drawings.Check alignment, levels, and dimensions of structures.Monitor concreting, steelwork, foundation, and structural erection activities.

✅ Measurement & BOQ Verification

Take site measurements and verify bills raised by contractors.Prepare and cross-check Bill of Quantities (BOQs) and material requirements.

✅ Safety & Compliance

Ensure work is carried out with proper safety measures.Adhere to statutory requirements, local building codes, and company standards.

✅ Material Management

Monitor and record consumption of civil materials like cement, steel, aggregates, etc.Raise indent for materials and follow up for timely delivery.

✅ Communication

Report issues and progress to senior engineers or management.Resolve day-to-day technical problems on-site.

✅ Drawing Interpretation

Read and interpret civil drawings, structural plans, and fabrication layouts related to shed expansion.

Desired Candidate Profile

Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.1-3 years of experience in industrial construction or shed erection works.Basic knowledge of civil works for industrial buildings such as:Structural steel fabrication & erectionRCC foundations and flooringSheeting and cladding worksProficient in reading civil and structural drawings.Good communication and team coordination skills.Knowledge of safety practices and standards at construction sites.Familiarity with MS Office, AutoCAD is an advantage.
