Job Title: Civil Engineer – Site Supervisor

Location: Joka, Kolkata
Salary: ₹28,000 – ₹32,000 per month

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Civil Engineer (Site Supervisor) to manage and supervise the complete site project at our construction site in Joka. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing site execution, managing materials, calculating the Bill of Materials (BOM) and Bill of Quantity (BOQ), and ensuring that all work is completed on time, within budget, and as per quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the entire site project from start to finish, ensuring smooth execution and timely completion.
• Supervise daily construction activities, coordinate with contractors, workers, and project teams.
• Prepare and calculate Bill of Materials (BOM) and Bill of Quantity (BOQ) for procurement and billing purposes.
• Verify site layouts, measurements, and levels as per drawings and technical specifications.
• Ensure adherence to design, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Monitor use of materials and control wastage at site.
• Maintain detailed daily progress reports and submit regular updates to the project manager.
• Coordinate with suppliers for timely material delivery and stock management.
• Check contractor bills, verify quantities, and assist in billing documentation.
• Identify and resolve technical issues on site promptly.
• Maintain proper site safety, housekeeping, and documentation.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Diploma or B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering.
• Experience: 2–5 years in site supervision, project management, and billing work.
• Technical Skills:
• Strong knowledge of civil drawings, BOQ/BOM preparation, and project execution.
• Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD (preferred).
• Understanding of estimation, billing, and quality control procedures.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
