Civil Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Civil Engineer to plan, design, supervise, and execute construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring structural quality, project timelines, cost control, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, problem-solving ability, and on-site execution experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, design, and oversee construction and infrastructure projects (residential / commercial / industrial).
• Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and project schedules.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure quality, safety, and adherence to drawings.
• Supervise labor and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Manage material procurement and resource allocation.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, structural plans, and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, GMADA bylaws, and safety regulations.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and present project updates to management.
• Resolve technical issues and implement engineering solutions on-site.
• Monitor project budgets, billing, and contractor work verification.
• Ensure timely completion of work within defined quality standards.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5–10 years of experience in construction / infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and standards.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, project management software (Primavera / MS Project is an advantage).
• Knowledge of structural design, estimation, and planning.
• Familiarity with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
