Civil Design Engineer

A Project Planning Engineer is responsible for ensuring engineering and construction projects are effectively scheduled, monitored, and executed within specified timelines and budgets. This role is vital for seamless project delivery, coordination among teams, efficient resource allocation, and risk mitigation. Key job responsibilities include: • Developing comprehensive project plans and detailed schedules for activities, resources, and milestones using specialized project management software. • Organizing, monitoring, and controlling project scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. • Coordinating with cross-functional teams—project managers, architects, contractors, and vendors—to ensure alignment with project objectives. • Preparing cost estimates, conducting take-offs, and analyzing drawings to identify requirements and potential risks. • Tracking progress, maintaining updated schedules, and preparing regular project status reports for stakeholders. • Identifying and resolving issues or conflicts to maintain workflow and project momentum. • Ensuring all work meets safety, legal, and regulatory standards while minimizing environmental impact. • Participating in meetings, conducting feasibility studies, and negotiating with suppliers for best-value procurement.
