🚀 We’re looking for a passionate and experienced professional to lead Quality Control (QC) operations for our Fruits & Vegetables (F&V) category in Ahmedabad.If you have expertise in fresh produce handling, food safety, and quality excellence, this is the perfect role for you!📍 Position DetailsJob Title: City QC Head – Fruits & VegetablesLocation: Ahmedabad, GujaratDepartment: Quality & Fresh Produce🌱 Role OverviewAs the City QC Head (F&V), you’ll be responsible for ensuring product freshness, food safety compliance, and minimal wastage across the city’s supply chain.You’ll lead a dynamic team and drive excellence at every stage — from sourcing to delivery.🎯 Preferred BackgroundIndustry: Quick Commerce, Retail, FMCG, Fresh Produce Supply ChainPreferred Companies: Zepto, Blinkit, Instamart, Flipkart Minutes, Reliance Fresh, D-Mart, Metro Cash & CarryEducation: Bachelor’s in Agriculture / Horticulture / Food Technology🔧 Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end quality control across procurement, inbound, storage, handling & dispatch of F&VImplement and monitor SOPs in line with FSSAI and food safety standardsConduct supplier audits and ensure adherence to quality benchmarksTrain and manage city-level QC teams and enforce process disciplineTrack and report quality KPIs – rejection rates, shelf life, and customer complaintsCollaborate with procurement & operations teams to enhance sourcing and reduce wastageMaintain hygiene, temperature control, and grading standards at all touchpointsLiaise with government authorities for audits and compliance documentation🎓 Qualifications & SkillsBachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or Food Technology (Mandatory)4–8 years of experience in F&V Quality Control (preferably in Quick Commerce/Retail)Strong understanding of food safety norms, grading, and cold chain managementFamiliar with HACCP, FSSAI, and related frameworksExcellent team management and communication skillsProficient in Excel and QC reporting tools📩 Interested candidates can apply at:👉 muskansrivastava@getnaukri.co.in
