Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Cinema Security Officer, located in Jammu. The primary responsibilities of the Security Officer include ensuring the safety and security of employees, patrons, and property within the cinema premises. Day-to-day tasks involve monitoring security systems, conducting routine inspections, managing crowd control during showings, responding to emergencies, and maintaining compliance with safety regulations. The role also includes coordinating with other staff members to ensure a secure and positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in conducting regular security checks, monitoring CCTV systems, and handling security equipment effectively.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to address patron concerns politely and professionally.
• Experience in managing crowds and handling emergency situations with calm and efficiency.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures relevant to entertainment or public venues.
• Strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
• Physical fitness and the ability to stand for extended periods; prior experience in a security role is advantageous.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as per the cinema’s scheduling requirements.
