Cinema Security Officer

As a Cinema Security Officer at PVRINOX Salem, your primary role is to ensure the safety and security of guests, staff, and property within the cinema premises. This involves monitoring entry points, managing crowd control, handling emergencies, and maintaining a pleasant and secure environment for moviegoers. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor entry and exit points to prevent unauthorized access. - Conduct security checks of patrons, bags, and belongings as per company policy. - Maintain crowd control during movie shows, especially during peak hours or special screenings. - Ensure safety and discipline in lobby areas, ticket counters, and screening halls. - Monitor CCTV cameras and report suspicious activities or security breaches promptly. - Handle lost and found items following company protocol. - Respond quickly and efficiently to incidents, emergencies, or disputes. - Coordinate with housekeeping and operations teams for smooth theatre functioning. - Ensure fire safety equipment and emergency exits are functional and accessible. - Prepare daily security reports and submit them to the Security Supervisor or Cinema Manager. - Assist in VIP visits, events, or special shows requiring additional security presence. Qualifications & Skills: - Minimum 10th / 12th pass; Diploma or certification in security preferred. - 2-4 years of experience in security services (cinema, mall, hotel, or public venue preferred). - Good communication and crowd-handling skills. - Knowledge of basic fire safety and emergency procedures. - Physically fit and alert at all times. - Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
