Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Chinese Commis Chef to join our team at Keys Select by Lemon Tree Hotels. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in the culinary industry, with a strong background in cooking techniques and ingredients.

Roles and Responsibility

Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to recipes and presentation standards.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with other chefs to develop new menu ideas and recipes.
Ensure food is prepared and presented on time, meeting customer expectations.
Monitor inventory of ingredients and supplies, making necessary adjustments.
Develop and implement effective food storage and waste management systems.

Job Requirements

Proven experience as a chef or commie in a professional kitchen setting.
Strong knowledge of Chinese cuisine and cooking techniques.
Ability to work well under pressure, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with attention to detail.
Familiarity with kitchen equipment and appliances, including stoves and refrigerators.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
