Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Chinese Commi 1st to join our team in the Hotels & Restaurants industry. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.

Roles and Responsibility

Assist the Chef de Partie in planning and preparing menus for special events and functions.
Prepare and cook a variety of Chinese dishes, including stir-fries, noodles, and desserts.
Maintain high levels of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen area.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
Develop new recipes and menu ideas to enhance the dining experience.
Ensure all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Job Requirements

Proven experience as a Chinese Commi 1st or similar role in a hotel or restaurant setting.
Strong knowledge of Chinese cuisine and cooking techniques.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
Familiarity with kitchen equipment and appliances.
High level of attention to detail and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
