We’re now transitioning from agency-led development to a nimble, AI-first, scalable in-house tech platform that will power our next phase of growth.

Role Overview

We’re hiring a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead Slayrobe’s technology roadmap and own the evolution of our platform from strong validation to exponential scale. This is a full-time, equity-based leadership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology, product, and business — and who can think like a co-founder. You will lead the transition from external agencies to an in-house tech engine, embed AI and personalisation seamlessly across the user journey, and represent Slayrobe’s technology vision in fundraising and investor discussions.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the full product and technology roadmap end-to-end

• Transition development from partner agencies to an internal tech setup

• Re-architect backend and systems for scalability, speed, and modularity

• Embed AI/ML-driven personalization, recommendation, and behavioral intelligence layers

• Partner with the Founder during fundraising, due diligence, and investor conversations — building narratives around defensibility and data advantage

• Build and lead a lean, high-performance engineering team with a culture of experimentation and ownership

• Collaborate cross-functionally with product and design to ensure seamless UX and innovation velocity

• Establish robust development processes, documentation, and sprint cadences for fast iteration

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of experience in software architecture, full-stack, or mobile development

• Proven success in scaling validated consumer products (10k+ users or beyond)

• Deep expertise in AI/ML integration (recommendation systems, personalization, NLP, or predictive modeling)

• Strong experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Firebase) and modern frameworks (React, Flutter, Node.js, Python)

• Prior involvement in fundraising or investor-facing roles (technical due diligence, scalability, storytelling)

• Strong analytical, strategic, and leadership abilities with a builder’s mindset

• Demonstrated ability to lead teams in high-growth environments

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science/Engineering (MBA or advanced tech specialisation preferred)
