Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Develop and expand distributor networks in target states, onboarding new partners and securing exclusive deals for women bottom wear.

  • Generate sales targets through market penetration, B2B outreach in multi-brand retail and wholesale channels.
  • Manage a team of salesmen, providing training, performance tracking, and motivation via incentives to cover regional territories effectively.
  • Market Expansion Duties
  • Conduct market analysis for state-specific opportunities in Maharashtra (Mumbai/Pune hubs), Uttar Pradesh (retail clusters), Madhya Pradesh (emerging markets), and Tamil Nadu (export gateways).
  • Plan and execute state wise expansion strategies, including route-to-market optimization and entry into new cities/districts for Women Bottom wear distribution.
  • Monitor competitors and adapt product positioning for regional preferences in womens apparel.
  • Financial and Team Management
  • Oversee timely collections from distributors.
  • Ensure compliance with trade terms and ethical sales practices in garments distribution

Preferred candidate profile

Professional Experience

  • 12-18 years in apparel sales leadership, ideally from brands like Jockey, Bodycare, or Page Industries, with 10+ years managing national distribution for Class 25 products.
  • Track record of expanding into states like Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu, achieving 25%+ YoY sales growth via 50+ active distributors.
  • Hands-on experience in team management (15-30 salesmen), distributor onboarding, and payment collections exceeding 25 crore annually

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Expertise in market expansion strategies, CRM tools (e.g., Zoho/Salesforce), sales forecasting, and regional pricing for womens bottomwear.
  • Strong negotiation for exclusive deals, credit control, and compliance in garments supply chains.
  • B.Com/MBA in Sales/Marketing; fluency in Hindi, English, and regional languages (Marathi/Tamil/Hindi) for distributor engagement
