Job Summary

Vestano International Pvt Ltd is looking for an experienced Chief Operations Manager (COM) to lead and optimize our retail operations across Kerala. The role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day store operations, driving profitability, ensuring operational excellence, and delivering a consistent, customer-first retail experience across all locations.

This is a senior leadership role ideal for candidates with strong multi-store retail management experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Strategy
• Develop, implement, and monitor SOPs across all retail outlets to ensure consistency in service, branding, and operations.
• Improve operational efficiency and standardization across the retail network.
• Financial Performance
• Monitor store-level and overall P&L.
• Control operational costs and improve margins.
• Drive revenue growth through data-driven decision-making.
• Inventory & Supply Chain
• Oversee inventory planning, stock movement, and replenishment.
• Minimize shrinkage and stock loss.
• Coordinate closely with warehouse and inventory teams.
• Sales & Marketing Execution
• Work with marketing teams to implement in-store promotions.
• Track sales performance and ROI of retail campaigns.
• Team Leadership
• Lead, mentor, and evaluate Regional Managers and Store Managers.
• Build a performance-driven culture aligned with company goals.
• Ensure proper staffing, training, and productivity across stores.
• Customer Experience
• Ensure high service standards and a customer-first approach across all outlets.
• Handle escalations and improve customer satisfaction metrics.
• Compliance & Safety
• Ensure adherence to all legal, safety, and regulatory requirements across stores.

Required Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a General Manager / Senior Manager / Operations Head in a retail chain.
• Proven experience managing multiple retail outlets or large-format retail operations.
• Strong understanding of retail operations, inventory control, and store performance metrics.
• Experience in leading large teams and senior store leadership.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong operational and strategic planning skills.
• Solid financial knowledge (P&L, margins, shrinkage, KPIs).
• Hands-on problem-solving ability.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Proficiency in Retail ERP/POS systems.
• Strong analytical skills using Excel, MIS reports, dashboards (PowerBI is a plus).

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: ₹50,000 – ₹75,000 per month (based on experience)
• Incentives: Performance-based incentives
