Chief Manager-Legal

As a Legal Counsel in our company, your role will involve drafting, reviewing, and managing a wide range of commercial contracts related to Wind & Solar Projects, such as Power Purchase Agreements, EPC Contracts, Module Supply Agreements, and more. You will also be responsible for assisting in formulating strategies for resolving contractual disputes and providing timely legal advice to internal stakeholders, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and validating company processes and policies. Additionally, you will be involved in creating security for lenders, managing external counsels and vendors, advising on land matters, coordinating with acquisition vendors, preparing MIS reports, and handling legal notices and responses. Key Responsibilities: - Draft, review, and manage various commercial contracts including Power Purchase Agreements, EPC Contracts, Module Supply Agreements, and more - Assist in formulating strategies for resolving contractual disputes and transaction closures - Provide timely and commercial legal advice to internal stakeholders, highlighting and managing legal and commercial risks - Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations and validate company processes and policies - Provide legal support during the creation of security for lenders - Liaise, engage, and manage external counsels and vendors - Advise on land matters to mitigate risks, disputes, litigations, and issues related to land acquisition - Coordinate with acquisition vendors and assist in the preparation of Title reports - Prepare MIS reports, draft and vet notices, maintain records of legal notices, regulatory compliance, and litigation matters - Provide day-to-day legal support to the business for all project phases in India Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Law from a recognized institution - Minimum of 5 years of experience in drafting and reviewing commercial contracts, preferably in the renewable energy sector - Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to energy projects - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines Join our team and contribute to the success of our Wind & Solar Projects by providing valuable legal support and expertise throughout the project life cycle.,
