Job Description

As a Legal Counsel at our company, you will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and managing a variety of commercial contracts related to Wind & Solar projects. This includes Power Purchase Agreements, EPC Contracts, Module Supply Agreements, WTG Contracts, O&M Contracts, Financing Agreements, M&A transactions, Land Aggregation MOUs, Service/Consultancy Contracts, NDAs, Lease and Sale Agreements, and other company contracts for Wind & Solar Project. Your key responsibilities will include: - Assisting in formulating strategies for the resolution of contractual disputes and transaction closures. - Providing timely, accurate, independent, and commercially pragmatic legal advice to internal stakeholders, managing legal and commercial risks during the project cycle. - Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations and validating processes and policies of the Company. - Supporting the creation of security in favor of lenders. - Liaising, engaging, and managing external counsels and other vendors. - Advising the company on land matters to mitigate risks, disputes, litigations, and issues related to purchasing private lands. - Coordinating with Acquisition vendors and assisting Panel Advocates in the preparation and finalization of Title reports. - Preparation of MIS and drafting and vetting of notices and responses. - Record-keeping of legal notices, regulatory compliance, and all litigation matters. Your qualifications should include: - A degree in Law with relevant experience in commercial contracts and project lifecycle management. - Strong knowledge of legal principles and compliance requirements related to Wind & Solar projects. - Excellent communication and negotiation skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Experience in providing legal support to businesses in India.
