Chief Manager-EHS

As the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Head, your primary responsibility is to ensure workplace safety, occupational health, and environmental protection. You will play a crucial role in creating and enforcing EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Leading sustainability drives, monitoring statutory reports submission, and conducting impact assessments to identify and mitigate EHS risks are key aspects of your role. - Oversee a wide range of responsibilities including: - Managing waste disposal activities - Operating wastewater treatment plants and scrubbers - Coordinating hazardous and non-hazardous waste disposal with vendors - Maintain documentation, manage occupational health and hygiene programs, and promote safety awareness through various training programs. - Responsible for industrial hygiene monitoring, recommending measures to control occupational health hazards, and ensuring the implementation of emergency response plans. - Monitor water distribution systems, lead emission reduction activities, and ensure compliance with ESG parameters set for the site. - Stay updated on legislations, conduct impact assessments, and report incidents to internal and external stakeholders. To succeed in this position, you should be a qualified professional with at least 15 to 20 years of experience in occupational health, safety, and environmental protection. Strong knowledge of environment protection unit operations, effluent treatment plants, and regulatory compliances is essential. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills are required to effectively carry out the responsibilities of this role.,
