As a rapidly growing healthcare startup, ResearchAyu is seeking a hands-on CFO to lead the financial strategy and operations. The CFO will play a crucial role in building a comprehensive financial framework, managing cash flow, preparing investor materials, and securing capital from potential investors as the company prepares to raise its first round of funding. Responsibilities And Accountabilities Financial Planning and Analysis: - Develop and manage detailed financial models, including revenue forecasts, expense projections, and profitability analysis. - Create and monitor budgets to ensure alignment with strategic goals. - Analyze key financial metrics to identify areas for improvement and inform business decisions. Fundraising: - Prepare investor presentations, pitch decks, and financial due diligence materials. - Identify and cultivate relationships with potential investors, including venture capitalists and angel investors. - Negotiate investment terms and manage the fundraising process. Accounting And Operations: - Establish and maintain accurate accounting practices, including revenue recognition, expense management, and financial reporting. - Oversee the implementation and management of financial systems and software. - Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and accounting standards. Investor Relations: - Maintain regular communication with investors, providing updates on financial performance and strategic initiatives. - Prepare financial reports and presentations for board meetings. Qualifications: - Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in finance, ideally with a mix of corporate finance, accounting, and early-stage startup experience. - Proven track record of successfully raising capital for a startup company. - CA / MBA for Tier 1 colleges only. Skills: - Strong financial modeling and analysis skills with proficiency in Excel and financial software. - Excellent communication and presentation abilities to effectively communicate financial information to both technical and non-technical audiences. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
