Role Overview: You are being hired as the CEO designate for the Business Unit of a Parent Company that specializes in AI solutions for Life Sciences applications, particularly in microbiology applications for environmental monitoring in pharma manufacturing. Your primary responsibilities will include developing the business strategy, commercial plan, and future product portfolio for the Unit. You are expected to make strategic and financial decisions to position the Unit as an independent entity, spearhead regulatory strategies, and monitor budgets and resources by collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, execute, and assess top business strategies to drive Company growth. - Collaborate with customers, domain experts, and team members to identify innovative solutions. - Act as a key resource for managers in finance, marketing, and sales operations currently provided by the parent Company. Qualifications Required: - Understanding of corporate finance and business management. - Strong knowledge of technology, software products, and instrumentation. - Proven success as a senior executive. - Familiarity with regulatory compliance. - Excellent communication skills. Additional Details: The Business Unit is in the process of developing and testing various image analysis-based solutions for microbiology applications/environmental monitoring needs in pharmaceutical manufacturing. The technologies used in the solutions portfolio include AI, computer vision, robotics, NFC, instrumentation, and high-resolution photography. The Unit is planned to be spun out as an independent entity in the near future, with commercial operations expected to launch before the end of the financial year.
