Job Description

Role Overview: As the compliance leader, strategist, and subject matter expert, you will be responsible for assessing and advising on existing and emerging regulatory compliance requirements across the organization. Your role will involve developing the annual compliance work plan, periodically revising it in light of changes, guiding the compliance team, overseeing and monitoring the implementation of the compliance program, providing guidance, advice, and training, as well as offering strategic direction to the management on compliance. Additionally, you will be preparing and presenting clear and concise compliance reports to the Board, interacting with regulators on compliance issues, coordinating efforts related to audits, reviews, and examinations, and independently investigating and acting on matters related to compliance. You will also be monitoring external review processes, advising on good governance practices, and ensuring compliance with Corporate Governance norms under various laws. Furthermore, you will coordinate board/general meetings, follow-up actions, identify and mitigate Compliance risk, set up training materials, and represent the Company at tribunals and courts. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and revise the annual compliance work plan - Guide and oversee the compliance team - Monitor the implementation of the compliance program - Provide guidance, advice, and training on compliance - Prepare and present compliance reports to the Board - Interact with regulators and coordinate audits, reviews, and examinations - Independently investigate and act on compliance matters - Advise on good governance practices and ensure compliance with various laws - Coordinate board/general meetings and follow-up actions - Identify and mitigate Compliance risk in products and processes - Set up training materials on Secretarial matters - Represent the Company at tribunals and courts Qualifications Required: - Expertise in SEBI, FEMA, RBI, and Companies Act - Proficiency in Corporate Laws, Contracts, and Governance Risk Compliance - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Meticulous attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure - Strong interpersonal and influencing skills - Excellent organization, time management, and initiative-taking abilities - Flexible and practical approach to work - Discretion in handling confidential information Additional Details: The salary for this position will be as per Company standards.,
