Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Chief Accountant at Helse Medical Sciences in Assam, India. The Chief Accountant will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the healthcare units, managing the accounts team of 7+ members, overseeing accounting processes, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chartered Accounting Firm from Mumbai, in alignment with the Board of Directors, will be providing strategic guidance directly to the Chief Accountant. Salary Range (CTC) - Rs.7.2L p.a. to Rs.9.6L p.a. (Negotiable based on work experience and past achievements) Qualifications Financial management, Accounting, and Reporting skills Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements Experience in healthcare finance or hospital accounting (Preferable; not mandatory) CPA or CA certification (Preferable; not mandatory) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Ability to work effectively in a team and independently Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
