Full Time
Prepare and cook continental café dishes (sandwiches, burgers, pizzas, pasta, salads).
Manage mise en place (daily preparation of ingredients, sauces, toppings, bread, etc.).
Supervise and guide commis chefs/kitchen helpers in basic prep work.
Maintain quality, taste, and presentation standards consistently.
Ensure hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness of the kitchen area.
Monitor stock of ingredients and report shortages to management.
Work closely with service staff to ensure quick and smooth order delivery.
Innovate and suggest new menu items or specials to attract customers.
Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of Continental café-style dishes (sandwiches, pizzas, burgers, pasta).
Ability to handle grill, oven, and stovetop cooking efficiently.
Leadership skills to supervise and train commis/helpers.
Good time management and ability to work under pressure.
Creativity in presentation and garnishing.
2–4 years of experience in a Continental kitchen or café/restaurant.
Previous experience handling pizza, pasta, and quick-service items is an advantage.
