Job Description

You will be the overall in charge of Plant Accounts activities, which include handling GST matters and liaising with GST authorities for ongoing assessments. You will be responsible for appearing till the level of CIT and Audit Wing Officers. You will guide the team on Ind AS and ensure proper presentation in Financials. Your role will involve reviewing Advance Tax working, assets, and Costing areas. Working on bringing budgetary controls in Plant Operations will also be a part of your responsibilities. You will coordinate with the IT team to bring controls in SAP, including Park and Post segregation for a few T-codes. Additionally, you will review monthly data on P&L, Overhead analysis, and Direct cost analysis. Leading activities on deferment of duties by applying MOOWR license with the Customs Department will be one of your tasks. Reviewing contracts and import transactions will also be under your purview. You will ensure timely closure of books by the 7th of every month. Coordinating with CFO and CS for board meeting data, notes, key initiatives for the quarter, and ensuring closure of final accounts on a timely basis to comply with requirements related to Listing will also be a part of your responsibilities. You will handle Internal Audit, ensuring follow-up action on findings related to all matters (not only Finance) and liaising with statutory auditors. Your role will also involve working on the development of SOPs for Accounts functions.,
