Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Chartered Accountant, located in Kolkata. The Chartered Accountant will be responsible for preparing and managing financial records, balancing accounts, preparing budgets, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and coordinating audits. The role will require offering financial advice, analyzing cost efficiency, ensuring proper financial planning, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely reporting of financial results. The candidate will also assist in the development of strategies to optimize financial performance and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budget preparation, and financial analysis
• Expertise in tax regulations, audits, and compliance
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with team members and present financial insights effectively
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Professional certification as a Chartered Accountant (CA) is required; experience in renewable energy or related industries is a plus
