Job Description

As a Channel Partner Manager at John Crane, you will play a crucial role in expanding the company's reach and market presence through effective recruitment and management of channel partners. Your responsibilities will include: - **Channel Partner Recruitment**: - Identify and recruit new channel partners to expand the company's reach. - Evaluate potential partners" capabilities, market presence, and alignment with company goals. - **Relationship Management**: - Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new channel partners. - Serve as the primary point of contact for partners within the region. - Conduct regular business reviews with partners to ensure alignment and drive mutual success. - Drive agreement renewals and compliance with business policies. - Ensure high-level collaboration between sales, aftermarket team, and channel partner team. - **Sales Enablement**: - Provide partners with necessary tools, training, and support to effectively sell the company's products and services. - Develop and deliver training programs and materials for partners. - Assist partners in developing and executing marketing and sales strategies. - **Performance Management**: - Monitor partner performance against established targets and KPIs. - Analyze sales data and provide actionable insights to improve partner performance. - Address any issues or challenges faced by partners and provide solutions. - **Strategic Planning**: - Develop and implement a regional channel strategy to achieve sales and growth objectives. - Collaborate with internal teams to align channel strategies with overall regional and company goals. - Identify market trends and opportunities for growth within the region. - **Reporting and Analysis**: - Prepare regular reports on channel partner performance, market trends, and sales activities. - Present findings and recommendations to senior management. In terms of qualifications, you will need: - **Education/Training**: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred. - **Experience**: - Minimum of 10 years of experience in channel management, business development, or sales. - Proven track record of successfully managing and growing channel partner relationships. - Strong understanding of the regional market and industry trends. - Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to travel within the region as required. - Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. - **Languages**: English, Hindi (Any other local languages will be an added advantage). In addition, key accountabilities include recruiting and evaluating new partners, maintaining strong partner relationships, driving agreement renewals, providing tools and support to partners, developing training programs, monitoring partner performance, implementing regional channel strategies, and preparing performance reports. The work environment may require regular travel within the region and flexible working hours to accommodate partner schedules and events. You will need strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, self-motivation, teamwork, and a customer-focused approach to succeed in this role.,
