Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Certified Medical Coder located in Pune. The Certified Medical Coder will be responsible for accurately coding medical procedures and diagnoses using CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes. Daily tasks include performing charge entry, reviewing and submitting claims, managing denials and claim follow-ups, handling accounts receivable, and posting payments. The role also involves conducting medical billing audits, ensuring compliance, and providing support for patient billing and financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding
• Experience in charge entry, claim submission, and payment posting
• Skills in denial management, accounts receivable management, and financial reporting
• Strong understanding of healthcare revenue cycle management
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and on-site in Pune
• Certification in medical coding (e.g., CPC, CCS) is required
• Experience in the healthcare industry is beneficial
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex billing issues
