Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Certified Medical Coder located in Pune. The Certified Medical Coder will be responsible for accurately coding medical procedures and diagnoses using CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes. Daily tasks include performing charge entry, reviewing and submitting claims, managing denials and claim follow-ups, handling accounts receivable, and posting payments. The role also involves conducting medical billing audits, ensuring compliance, and providing support for patient billing and financial reporting. Qualifications Proficiency in CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding Experience in charge entry, claim submission, and payment posting Skills in denial management, accounts receivable management, and financial reporting Strong understanding of healthcare revenue cycle management Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and on-site in Pune Certification in medical coding (e.g., CPC, CCS) is required Experience in the healthcare industry is beneficial Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex billing issues
