We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Center Manager to lead and manage our training center of Legrand. The ideal candidate will bring strong operational expertise, experience in handling government liaisons, payment tracking, and team leadership. A background in vocational training and exposure to NSDC-aligned projects is highly desirable.
Operations and Leadership
Lead the overall project implementation and day-to-day operations of the center.
Ensure smooth functioning of all training batches, infrastructure readiness, and staff coordination.
Monitor fund utilization, payment schedules, and financial compliance.
Strategic Planning and Monitoring
Set targets and track performance across mobilization, training, certification, and placement.
Ensure training delivery aligns with standards and industry expectations.
Maintain quality assurance and compliance with all regulatory frameworks.
Government Liaison and Stakeholder Coordination
Act as the key liaison with officials, government departments, and external partners.
Coordinate for inspections, audits, documentation, and reporting.
Represent the center in meetings, reviews, and official communications.
Team & Performance Management
Supervise trainers, mobilizers, and administrative staff to ensure target achievement.
Provide mentoring and support for effective team performance.
Track and report daily/weekly/monthly progress to senior management.
Mobilization & Placement
Support and guide the mobilization team in reaching target communities.
Build partnerships with employers and placement agencies to ensure successful job linkages.
Ensure timely documentation and validation of placements.
Deliver structured soft skills and workplace readiness training for students from underprivileged or rural backgrounds (Class 10 to ITI level).
Graduate in Engineering, Management, or a related technical field.
Trainer experience in Welding, FMA, Electrical, or CNC is highly preferred.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in skill development or vocational training sector.
Experience in NSDC-affiliated projects or other government-funded skill development schemes is an advantage.
TOT (Training of Trainers) Certification is preferable.
Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office tools and reporting systems.
Additional Preferred Qualities:
Deep understanding of government schemes and training standards.
Familiarity with community outreach and mobilization strategies.
Fluency in local language(s) is a plus.
Ability to work in a dynamic, target-driven environment.
