Center Head - Interior Design

Aquis Search is currently assisting our client, a premier interior design studio, in their search for a Center Head in Mumbai.

This is a unique opportunity to lead a flagship experience center for one of India’s fastest-growing interior design brands. Our client operates at the intersection of design, lifestyle, and technology, redefining how Indian consumers experience home interiors.

As Center Head, you will hold end-to-end P&L ownership for the Mumbai center and play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, customer engagement, and operational excellence. This is a high-impact leadership role suited for someone who thrives in dynamic, entrepreneurial environments and is passionate about scaling consumer-centric businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the strategic direction and day-to-day execution of the Mumbai Experience Centre.
• Lead business planning and implement high-impact sales strategies aligned with short- and long-term growth goals.
• Oversee all verticals within the center—Sales, Design, Operations, and Delivery—ensuring alignment with the brand’s promise and customer expectations.
• Champion customer experience as a key differentiator in a competitive design-led space.
• Recruit, mentor, and lead cross-functional teams while fostering a culture of ownership, performance, and collaboration.
• Collaborate closely with senior leadership on business planning, innovation, and expansion initiatives.
• Monitor financial performance, optimize operational efficiency, and drive sustained profitability.

What We’re Looking For:

• 15+ years of experience in D2C Sales, Business Development, ideally in consumer lifestyle, design, interiors, or adjacent industries.
• Proven track record in managing P&L, scaling teams, and delivering on growth and customer experience metrics.
• Strong business acumen, execution orientation, and the ability to navigate complexity with clarity.
• Excellent interpersonal, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with a customer-first mindset and ability to inspire cross-functional teams.
