Celebrity Manager

Job Summary

The Celebrity Manager role is a hands on entertainment sector position responsible for managing a celebrity’s professional life end to end. The role acts as a direct proxy of the celebrity for coordination, communication, scheduling, and approvals. Responsibilities include managing personal calendars, social media coordination, brand endorsements, interviews, shoots, and travel logistics. The position requires high flexibility, strong judgment, and availability beyond fixed schedules. This is not a corporate desk role and is suited for professionals who understand the pace, pressure, and working style of the entertainment and media industry.

Primary Responsibilities

• Act as an authorized proxy and representative of the celebrity for professional coordination and communication
• Manage detailed personal and professional calendars including meetings, shoots, interviews, appearances, and brand commitments
• Coordinate brand deals, endorsements, and campaign deliverables between celebrities, brands, agencies, and media partners
• Conduct research for brand suitability, endorsement alignment, and public positioning opportunities
• Manage social media schedules, approvals, coordination, and related PR activities
• Schedule and manage interviews, press interactions, shoots, and on ground coordination
• Maintain confidentiality, documentation accuracy, and long term professional relationships

Travel Flexibility

• Willingness to travel frequently for work commitments
• Readiness for approximately 25 percent national and international travel
• Ability to manage international tours, brand events, shoots, endorsements, and media engagements
• Comfort with irregular working hours, last minute travel changes, and extended schedules during shoots and events

Primary Skills

• Strong communication and representation skills for handling celebrities, brands, media, and agents
• Excellent scheduling, coordination, and multitasking capability
• Practical understanding of entertainment and media industry workflows
• Negotiation skills related to endorsements, appearances, and brand associations
• Ability to manage pressure, confidentiality, and rapidly changing priorities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Media Studies, Film, or Entertainment Management
• Diploma or postgraduate qualification in Media, Film, or Talent Management preferred
• Relevant exposure to celebrity management, entertainment PR, or media coordination

Experience

Minimum 1 year and maximum 2 years of relevant experience in the entertainment sector or media industry is mandatory. Experience should include celebrity handling, talent coordination, entertainment PR, or similar roles.

Personality and Industry Awareness

• Strong awareness of the media and entertainment industry
• Actively follows celebrities, film stars, cricketers, and public figures
• Clear understanding of current trends in films, sports, endorsements, and celebrity branding
• Confident, presentable, and comfortable interacting with high profile personalities
• High level of situational awareness, discretion, and professional judgment
