Script Writer

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating compelling stories, developing captivating characters, and writing scripts that translate to engaging films. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Develop original screenplays, treatments, and adaptations that meet the needs of the production company and its clients • Create characters with depth and complexity that engage audiences • Write dialogue that is authentic, realistic, and compelling • Collaborate with other members of the creative team, including directors, producers, and editors, to refine and enhance scripts • Attend pitch meetings, read scripts, and provide notes and feedback to other writers and filmmakers • Research and gather information to ensure accuracy and authenticity in scripts • Adapt existing material, such as novels, plays, or other media, into screenplays • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and best practices • Meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work. QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor's degree in film, creative writing, or a related field • Proven experience as a screenwriter, with at least one produced feature film credit • Excellent storytelling abilities and a strong understanding of screenplay structure and format • Familiarity with industry-standard screenwriting software, such as Final Draft or Celtx • Ability to take and implement feedback from other team members • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines • A passion for film and storytelling Mandatory Requisites: • Laptop/desktop with upgraded configurations • High-speed internet connection • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Telephonic Skills • Excellent Management skills • Ability to work under pressure and on a targeted basis • Patience, career-oriented, and diplomatic SALARY Salary is negotiable depending on the overall Profile, Experience/ Personality, and skills.
