Role Summary The Chef de Partie (CDP) is responsible for managing a specific section of the kitchen independently. This includes preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes as per the kitchen standards, ensuring consistency and quality, and supporting junior kitchen staff. Key Responsibilities Oversee a specific kitchen section such as hot, cold, pastry, or bakery. Maintain mise en place for assigned station and ensure timely preparation of dishes. Ensure all food preparation meets the company’s standards in taste, portion, and hygiene. Supervise and support Commis and junior kitchen staff. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen section. Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations. Assist with inventory control, stock rotation, and waste management. Participate in menu planning and contribute new ideas, especially in pastry or bakery roles. Skills and Requirements Minimum 5 years of professional kitchen experience. Proven expertise in one or more kitchen sections. Ability to lead and train junior staff effectively. Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety practices.
