Purpose of Role
To act as the technical subject matter expert on CDE-AI integration, enabling the deployment of intelligent data products and machine learning models across marketing and commerce. The role drives the configuration, automation, and governance of AI-enabled features within the CDE to deliver business outcomes in consumer targeting, media effectiveness, and personalization.
Key Responsibilities
1. CDE-AI Integration Architecture
- Translate AI use cases into scalable and compliant data integration solutions across CDP, CRM, and media activation platforms. - Work with data scientists and engineers to operationalize AI/ML models within the CDE (e.g., for segmentation, targeting, recommendation).
- Work with Solution and Enterprise Architects to ensure AI solutions are scalable, cloud-native, and cost-efficient.
- Design and support APIs, pipelines, and orchestration logic to deploy and monitor AI-powered data flows.
2. Model Implementation and Testing
- Lead the technical deployment of machine learning models from development to production. - Ensure accuracy, scalability, and performance of deployed AI models. - Define and execute integration test plans to validate AI functionality within data ecosystems.
3. Compliance, Governance, and AI Risk Mitigation
- Ensure all AI integrations comply with Diageos Responsible AI principles and global data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA). - Implement auditable model monitoring, drift detection, and ethical risk checks in line with Responsible Marketing & AI frameworks.
4. Deployment & Support
- Provide hands-on support to markets during AI capability rollouts, including hypercare, troubleshooting, and platform enhancements.
- Implement CI/CD practices for ML Ops using tools such as MLflow, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
- Monitor AI solution performance in-market and work with global teams to identify improvement opportunities.
5. Collaboration and Enablement
- Act as technical liaison between AI product teams, CDE engineers, and Martech architects. - Support documentation, enablement materials, and workshops to build AI literacy within CDT and market teams.
Qualifications & Experience Required
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, AI, or a related field.
- 8+ years in data engineering, AI/ML engineering, or martech systems integration roles.
- Proven experience operationalizing machine learning models in cloud-based data environments (e.g., GCP, Azure).
- Strong grasp of CDPs, CRM systems (Salesforce), and marketing data platforms.
- Working knowledge of data governance, AI ethics, and compliance frameworks.
