Catalogue Manager

A Catalogue Manager is responsible for overseeing the development, organisation, and maintenance of a company's product catalogue. You will be managing and optimising the product catalogue, ensuring accurate representation of all items by updating product descriptions, specifications, pricing, and images. Your role involves overseeing the collection, entry, and validation of product data, analyzing catalogue performance metrics, and implementing improvements based on data insights. Collaboration with various departments like sourcing, merchandising, IT, and e-commerce teams is essential to ensure consistency and seamless integration of catalogue data with online platforms. You will work on creating compelling product descriptions and marketing content aligned with the company's branding, implementing SEO best practices, and conducting regular audits to maintain high standards of accuracy. Generating reports on catalogue performance, monitoring competitor catalogues, and industry trends to remain competitive are also part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will focus on enhancing the customer experience by providing accurate and detailed product information, addressing customer inquiries and feedback. Team building, monitoring productivity, system modifications, false inventory control, and structure & strategy planning of categories are also key aspects of the role. Qualifications required include 4+ years of experience in catalogue management or a similar role, with proficiency in MS Excel, inventory management, SEO knowledge, strong project management and people management skills, and excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
