Catalog Specialist

As a Catalog Specialist at our company based in Gurgaon, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our product catalogue across various platforms. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will be key in ensuring the accuracy of product data, enhancing content quality, and improving discoverability to enhance the overall customer experience and drive sales. Your responsibilities will include overseeing end-to-end catalog management for Shopify platforms, maintaining accurate and up-to-date product information, images, and descriptions, as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams for timely onboarding of products. Monitoring product performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to enhance visibility and conversions will be essential aspects of your role. In addition, you will be tasked with standardizing catalogue taxonomy, attributes, and templates to improve discoverability, as well as ensuring catalogue hygiene by minimizing errors, duplicates, and inactive SKUs. Keeping track of competitor listings and market trends to enhance catalogue quality, managing catalogue-related reporting and MIS for leadership review, and contributing to the overall success of the team will also be part of your responsibilities. To excel in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (an MBA is preferred), along with 1-3 years of experience in catalogue management, merchandising, or e-commerce operations. Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, familiarity with cataloguing tools, an eye for detail, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively cross-functionally and meet deadlines are qualities that will help you succeed in this position.
