CAT modelling Junior

Role and Responsibilities

· Understanding and preparing exposure data for multiple lines of business

· Data cleansing, enhancing and analysis of COPE information (Construction, Occupancy, Protection and Exposure) and secondary modifiers

· Applying financial policy terms in the model for perils covered

· Prepare import files for AIR Touchstone modelling platform

· Working on complex and large datasets using MS-Excel

· Validating exposure data against set AIR guidelines

· Geo-Coding the exposure data using Risk Link

· Running specific scripts for different perils

· Loss Analysis and sharing results with client

· Understanding of the insurance terminologies

· Ensure timely completion of all deliverables

Preferred Skills / Knowledge

· Knowledge of Insurance and Cat Modelling

· Good working knowledge of SQL, MS-Office Word, Excel and Access

· Work experience in CAT modeling (1-5 years)

· Excellent domain understanding on CAT modeling- Both pre bind modeling and post bind

· Technical skills- SQL, Reporting-Power BI/ dashboarding/reporting

· Gurgaon location

· Good communication skills
