Job Responsibilities
- Establish Daily, Weekly and Monthly Objectives for the team, communicate and drive accountable to the results.
- Maintain and drive strong Safety culture within the team and ensure Safe and Healthy work environment for all associates.
- Drive strong 5S culture in the team in his area and ensure that the Standards of Excellence is delivered.
- Continuously identify opportunities in technical development and provide solutions to the challenges through collaboration and structured problem-solving.
- Ensure all requirements of the Integrated Management System are fulfilled in the Casting Process.
- People management- Supervision of Casting lines to ensure targets for Safety-Quality- Delivery- Cost are achieved.
- Plan and ensure availability of Operating supplies for Casting process.
- Monitor the Casting production processes (SOP’s and Standards) and adjust when required.
- Be responsible for the maintenance of equipment. Monitor product standards and implement quality control.
- Productivity, kaizen, KYT and process improvement projects.
Strategic Responsibilities
- Understand the company’s strategy and vision and develop plans to materialize strategy on aspects of Process, People and Technology.
Internal Stakeholders:
Leader Casting, Production peer group EHS, Procurement, HR, Maintenance, and Quality.
External Stakeholders
: Global counterparts of other Lixil Plants, Standards auditors. Required Skills and Capabilities:
- Knowledge in Aesthetical, Functional and Casting defect and co Ceramic Sanitaryware products.
- Statistical analysis and Structured Problem solving.
- Production planning.
- MS office
Academia
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Ceramic Technology
Professional Experience
At least 10 years’ experience in technical development for Casting.Designation: Leader – Casting linesReporting to: Leader – Casting
