Cashier – Vegetarian Restaurant (Multiple Locations Across Mumbai)

Job Summary

We are seeking a polite, efficient, and customer-focused Cashier to manage billing operations at our popular vegetarian restaurant chain. The ideal candidate will handle customer transactions accurately, maintain billing records, and provide excellent service in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and manage the billing counter efficiently.
• Accurately process orders using POS systems (dine-in, takeaway, delivery partner orders).
• Handle cash, card, UPI, and other digital payments securely.
• Issue bills, receipts, refunds, and maintain transaction logs.
• Coordinate with service staff and kitchen teams to ensure smooth order flow.
• Resolve basic customer queries and escalate issues when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the billing/cash counter.
• Ensure compliance with company billing policies and cash-handling procedures.
• Assist with daily cash reconciliation and submit reports to management.

Requirements

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience as a cashier, billing executive, or front-desk staff (restaurant experience preferred).
• Familiarity with POS systems, billing software, and digital payment methods.
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills (Hindi, Marathi, basic English).
• Pleasant personality with a customer-service mindset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and festival days.

• South Mumbai
• Western Suburbs
• Central Mumbai
• Navi Mumbai (if applicable)
