Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing stock. Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile with system records. Monitor stock levels and raise requisitions to avoid shortages. Verify delivery of items against purchase orders and invoices. Inspect quality, quantity, and condition of received goods. Reject or report discrepancies in case of damaged/incorrect items. Ensure proper storage conditions for perishable and non-perishable items. Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) practices. Label and organize inventory for easy access and control. Issue materials to kitchen and service departments as per approved requisitions. Track daily consumption and wastage. Maintain records of issued goods for cost control. Follow restaurant hygiene and safety standards in storage areas. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations. Support audits and inspections by management or external authorities. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports. Assist the purchase team with supplier evaluations and requirements. Coordinate with kitchen and accounts for smooth operations.
