Role Overview

Manager – Carbon Credits

Key Responsibilities

Carbon Credit Project Management

• Identify, assess, and support development of carbon credit projects (RE, forestry, waste-to-energy, soil carbon, etc.).

• 3 to 6 years

  of relevant experience in carbon markets, climate project development, sustainability consulting or environmental finance.
• Guide project documentation and certification in alignment with standards such as Verra (VCS), Gold Standard, and others.
• Coordinate with MRV partners, validation/verification bodies (VVBs) and registries.

Technical Analysis & Compliance

• Ensure projects meet carbon accounting, additionality and permanence criteria. ISO 14064 certification preferred.
• Stay updated on evolving standards (e.g., Article 6, CORSIA, Indian Carbon Market policies).
• Support due diligence on project quality and risk (including co-benefits and SDG alignment).
