Hiring: Restaurant Captain – The Cape Goa

Iconic Resort & Restaurant | Cabo de Rama, South Goa


Restaurant Captain

If you thrive on the floor, lead by example, and excel at delivering warm, polished service, this is an opportunity to grow with a respected and rapidly expanding hospitality brand.


Key Responsibilities

Floor Leadership

• Support the Restaurant Manager and Assistant Manager in leading service.

• Maintain calm control during busy shifts and ensure smooth coordination across service, bar, and kitchen teams.


Guest Service Excellence

• Lead by example with attentive, friendly, and professional service.

• Anticipate guest needs, handle requests promptly, and resolve issues with confidence and care.


Training & Team Development

• Guide junior GSAs, runners, and new team members.

• Uphold The Cape Goa’s standards of service, presentation, and professionalism.


Attention to Detail

• Ensure accurate ordering, efficient table setups, and smooth clearings.

• Maintain consistently high standards of cleanliness and overall presentation.


Communication & Coordination

• Relay guest feedback or concerns to management promptly.

• Foster strong teamwork across all service departments.


Qualifications

• 2–3 years’ experience in a quality restaurant or resort service role.

• Strong communication and leadership skills; confident and approachable.

• Well-presented, organised, and reliable under pressure.

• Fluent in English; Hindi/Konkani an advantage.

• Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
