Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a disciplined, proactive, and resourceful Campus/Estate Manager—preferably with an Army or Police background—to oversee the administration, safety, and maintenance of the school campus and its properties. The role involves ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning of the estate, efficient use of resources, compliance with safety standards, and effective management of facilities, staff, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

Campus Administration & Maintenance

  • Oversee the upkeep and maintenance of all school buildings, classrooms, laboratories, hostels, grounds, gardens, and other infrastructure.
  • Supervise housekeeping, security, transport, and maintenance staff to ensure smooth campus operations.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities and coordinate repairs, renovations, and preventive maintenance.
  • Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and readiness of the campus at all times.

Safety & Security

  • Implement and monitor campus security protocols for staff, students, and visitors.
  • Supervise security personnel, ensure 24/7 vigilance, and respond to emergencies effectively.
  • Coordinate with local authorities in case of any law-and-order, safety, or disaster-related issues.
  • Ensure fire safety, evacuation drills, and compliance with health & safety regulations.

Resource & Asset Management

  • Maintain an updated inventory of school assets and property.
  • Ensure proper utilization of resources like water, electricity, and equipment with a focus on cost-efficiency.
  • Oversee procurement, vendor management, and service contracts.

Transport & Logistics

  • Supervise the school transport system including buses, drivers, routes, and safety compliance.
  • Monitor movement of vehicles, fuel usage, and maintenance schedules.

Staff Supervision & Coordination

  • Lead, train, and discipline non-teaching staff (maintenance, housekeeping, transport, and security teams).
  • Foster teamwork and ensure accountability among staff.
  • Act as a liaison between the management and service staff.

Reporting & Compliance

  • Prepare regular reports on maintenance, security, and operations for school leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and government regulations regarding campus management.
  • Manage budgets for estate operations and suggest cost-saving measures.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Graduate in any discipline (Diploma/Degree in Facility Management preferred).
  • Retired Army/Police/Defence personnel strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 8–10 years of relevant administrative/management experience.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and crisis-management skills.
  • Familiarity with facility management, security systems, and basic civil/electrical works.

  • Ability to handle emergencies calmly and efficiently.

Pay: Up to ₹25,000.00 per month
