Description

Were seeking a Test Automation Engineer who is passionate about building reliable, scalable automation frameworks and ensuring that every product release is smooth, stable, and secure.Youll collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA leads to design, automate, and optimize testing workflows across web, mobile, and API layers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement robust automation frameworks using Selenium / Playwright / Cypress / Appium / Pytest / TestNG (depending on project tech stack).
  • Automate regression, smoke, and sanity test suites for web and mobile applications.
  • Integrate automation pipelines into CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.
  • Perform API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or Pytest-based frameworks.
  • Work with QA leads to identify automation candidates and prioritize automation coverage.
  • Debug flaky tests, perform RCA (Root Cause Analysis), and continuously improve reliability.
  • Collaborate with developers to resolve issues found during automation runs.
  • Maintain test data, version control, and documentation of automation scripts.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3- 6 years of hands-on experience in test automation for web, mobile, or API layers.
  • Strong programming skills in Python / Java / JavaScript.
  • Proficiency with one or more automation frameworks: Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or Robot Framework.
  • Experience with CI/CD integration and source control (Git).
  • Familiarity with BDD frameworks (Behave, Cucumber, Pytest-BDD) is a plus.
  • Good understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and defect lifecycle management.
  • Exposure to Jira, TestRail, or Xray preferred.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Good To Have

  • Experience with performance testing (JMeter / Locust).
  • Knowledge of API mocking, database validation, and cloud testing platforms (BrowserStack / LambdaTest).
  • Familiarity with AI-driven testing or self-healing test approaches (a plus in Calidads innovation culture).
