Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive

System and Network Support Engineer

to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system administration, hardware/software support, and network troubleshooting across both Windows and macOS environments. You will be instrumental in maintaining a secure, efficient, and reliable IT infrastructure while providing top-tier support to end users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and system administration for both Windows and macOS environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and peripheral issues, including laptops, desktops, printers, VoIP systems, and conferencing equipment.
  • Manage and administer Zscaler solutions, perform firewall configuration, and handle switch-level troubleshooting (VLAN setup, port configuration, interface issues).
  • Support and maintain core network services including DNS, DHCP, VPN, and IP configurations.
  • Assist with Active Directory user management and user support.
  • Perform routine system updates, security patches, and maintenance across devices and systems.
  • Ensure systems comply with IT security best practices including antivirus, endpoint protection, and security policy enforcement.
  • Support employee onboarding/offboarding by provisioning accounts, setting up laptops, and delivering IT orientation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues efficiently and improve IT processes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for systems, configurations, procedures, and support activities.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and communication, ensuring minimal disruption to users during problem resolution.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3–7 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or network engineering roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Zscaler, firewalls, network switches, and basic network protocols.
  • Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
  • Experience supporting users in an Active Directory environment.
  • Practical knowledge of IT security protocols, tools, and best practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently or within a team.
