BY TMS Architect- Remote in India

• Position: BlueYonder Transportation Management System (TMS) Architect

Summary Of Responsibilities

• Own and define the end-to-end architecture for BlueYonder TMS on SaaS with platform data cloud (PDC), ensuring alignment with enterprise IT and business strategies.
• Translate complex business and logistics requirements into scalable, robust architectural solutions.
• Architect and oversee integrations between BlueYonder TMS SaaS on PDC and other critical systems (ERPs, WMS, OMS, Control Towers, Carrier APIs, EDI).
• Develop and maintain architecture artifacts such as diagrams, data flow models, integration specifications, and technology standards.
• Serve as the top technical authority for BlueYonder TMS projects, including greenfield implementations, upgrades, and continuous improvements.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers, analysts, and administrators.
• Lead solution design workshops, challenge requirements, and propose best-practice solutions based on BY PDC capabilities.
• Make key technical decisions regarding configuration vs. customization for long-term maintainability.
• Stay up-to-date with BlueYonder TMS roadmaps, features, and industry trends to recommend and plan strategic enhancements.
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 14+ years of hands-on experience with BlueYonder TMS solutions.
• 4+ years as a TMS Architect, having led 2-3 full lifecycle BlueYonder TMS implementations as a Solution Architect.
• Deep expertise with BlueYonder TMS on SaaS with PDC (knowledge of BY TM on SaaS PDC is a plus).
• Strong experience in cloud-first architecture with cloud platforms (GCP preferred; AWS/Azure also applicable).
• Expertise in building TM integrations using microservices, APIs, and event-driven frameworks.
• Knowledge of cloud-based technologies such as RedShift, Power BI, Lambda, SQL.
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture using message queues and pub/sub systems.
• In-depth understanding of transportation logistics—carrier management, rate management, load planning/optimization, fleet management, and freight audit/payment.
• Experience developing cloud-native platform solutions using microservices for scalability and maintenance.
