Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Business Strategy:

  • Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities and risks.
  • Lead and co-ordinate long-term strategy projects related to business and profitability growth as a part of the BU Heads office; serve as a bridge across functional teams.
  • Identify and justify new business and operational avenues through compelling business cases and financial models.
  • Support the BU Head in new technology product development.
  • Identify key bottlenecks during development and execution of strategy projects and brief the BU Head about the same. Performance Management:
  • Develop strategic KPIs and build dashboards (At Organization and functional level)
  • Prepare and review monthly business reports on behalf of the BU Head & brief them to the BU Head
  • Business Operations:
  • Oversee and refine internal processes & supply chain that support operational excellence.
  • Monitor if existing processes are being run smoothly to support the new initiatives/projects.
  • Manage communication with employees by liaising with internal and external executives on various projects and tasks.
  • Prepare and oversee review mechanism for BU Head; lead on behalf of the BU Head whenever needed.
  • Track and conclude important topics from the business reviews.

Alignment and Co-ordination Activities:

  • Work closely all functions for alignment between business strategy and operational activities.
  • Develop professional relationships with CXOs and CFT members,
  • Plan and orchestrate work to ensure that senior executives priorities are met, organizational goals are achieved, and best practices are upheld.

Other Activities:

  • Give administrative support to the BU Head whenever needed.
  • Maintain professionalism and strict confidentiality with all materials.

Preferred candidate profile

Key Competencies

  • Fundamental understanding of P&L and Financial Modelling.
  • Proficient in MS Office Tools; proficiency in Data Analytics tools such as Power BI is a plus.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills to engage with senior leadership and drive

consensus.

  • Strong time-management skills and an ability to drive multiple con-current projects.
  • Flexible team player, willing to adapt to changes and ability to take on new challenges.
  • Understanding of Lean/Six Sigma concepts is a plus.
  • Adaptability to work with multi-national executives.
  • Confidentiality of information related to the company and its employees is a must.

  • CA with 1 -3 experience in Manufacturing industry

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in supporting a CXO
