Business Sales Manager

Role Overview

The Sales Manager will lead and manage the sales team to drive revenue growth, expand market presence, and build strong relationships in the construction and infrastructure sectors. This role involves developing and executing sales strategies, managing key accounts, and coordinating with technical, production, and operations teams to deliver effective precast concrete solutions to clients.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Strategy & Planning

• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  
• Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
  
• Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports.
  

2. Team Management & Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and coach the sales team (inside sales, field sales, account managers) to achieve individual and team goals.
  
• Set sales targets, KPIs, and track performance.
  
• Organize training sessions for sales staff on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer engagement.
  

3. Business Development & Key Account Management

• Identify and develop new business opportunities with contractors, consultants, architects, engineers, and developers.
  
• Manage relationships with key customers, including negotiation of contracts, pricing, and terms.
  
• Engage with specifiers / decision makers to increase specification of precast products.
  
• Participate in bidding and proposal development; collaborate with estimating and engineering teams.
  

4. Technical Sales & Product Support

• Understand and communicate technical features of precast products (e.g., beams, panels, pipes, manholes).
  
• Provide technical support to customers and sales team during pre-sales, trials, or pilot projects.
  
• Work with R&D / production teams to feedback customer requirements and drive product development or customization.
